Deckchair Cinema is regarded as one of Australia’s most iconic independent cinemas and has over 30,000 visitors through the Top End Dry Season (April to November). Around 60% of patrons are Darwin locals and the remainder visitors from around Australia and around the world.

Advertisements screen at the Deckchair Cinema every night during the dry season. Our slideshow and moving commercials are presented before the feature film, and in the event of two films per night, before each film is screened.

Any business can advertise. Advertisements must be non-offensive, non-sexist, non-racist and non-discriminatory. We do not accept advertising for cigarettes. The Darwin Film Society reserves the right not to accept advertising it finds inappropriate. We encourage local businesses within the tourism industry to advertise, including sports club/associations and art galleries and organizations promoting events in the N. T.

Not-for-profit organisations, including community arts organisations, charities and incorporated associations, are eligible for discounted advertising at the Deckchair Cinema.
Minimum advertising bookings are for one week. Package pricing is available for a program (8 weeks), or the full season.
